In our Las Vegas booth we have a special section dedicated to cookie jars. Unique and vintage cookie jars sell quite well so we buy them whenever we can. We have them on shelving with a sign above that says “Cookie Jar Drive” which is a fun way of attracting attention. Who doesn’t love cookie jars and cookies?!
This cookie jar is a Lenox and features a gingerbread doll decked out for the holidays. It retails around $75.00 if in excellent shape and this one is pristine.
One of the cookie jars currently in our collection is nearly 100 years old. It is the Cowboy Sheriff pig. It is a Robinson Ransbottom ceramic cookie jar first created in the early-1900s. Online prices range from $75-$200+. It is in good shape with just a small chip in front on his hat and is surely a collector’s delight.
Another vintage cookie jar in stock is the McCoy Frontier Family cookie jar originally produced in the 1960s. It depicts a young frontier couple in front of the fireplace while pots cooking over the wood stove. A woman in the background is most likely preparing the meal. It is in very good condition. Prices range from $65-$95 currently online.
Everyone loves cats. We added two cat cookie jars to our Cookie Jar Drive recently. One is a white cat with stripes and cute fish swimming around him. We are sure he is thinking about lunch!
The other is a black and white kitty decked out with a holiday wreath around his neck. A cute addition to any holiday theme.
Of course, most kitchens still have a rooster or two somewhere…roosters are thought to bring good luck. The rooster cookie jar in our booth currently is solid, no chips and very pretty.
The ever-popular collectors’ brand of Fitz and Floyd is found in the green cookie canister with the fruit on top of the lid. It is small but a nice addition to a counter top where green shades will look good.
A three-part cookie or cake container brings back the nostalgia of tasty treats at Grandma’s house. Each compartment is separate and tight to maintain freshness. This piece will really fit in a farm designed look.
Birdhouses are popular no matter what shape or form they take. We have a cute CIC ceramic bird house cookie jar with a bird sitting atop the lid. While not a high-priced cookie jar, it will appeal to anyone loving birdhouses…and cookies!
We found the very pretty KK fruit paradise ceramic cookie jar locally in excellent shape. It is compact and will brighten any kitchen.
The Sakura Daffodil cookie jar has a very ornate with a heavy lid over a solid jar. It is quite pretty with it’s yellow and pink daffodil top and colorful base. Valued at around $59.00. Sure to bring the feel of flowers into any kitchen.
